A few things you should know about how we plan weddings…

  • A red food truck named Big Rig Tacos serving tacos, burritos, tortas, nachos, and more at night. A man and woman, possibly newlyweds, are standing outside the truck, looking at the menu, with a woman inside the truck taking their order.

    Your wedding, your vision

I am here to support your ideas and help you find ways to make your wedding day the experience you imagine. We specialize in short turnaround weddings, full planning, and everything in between.

    All are welcome

I believe in diversity and the dignity of all people to my core. We will support, honor, and defend your love, and help you find vendors that align with your values.

    Plan from anywhere, to anywhere

There are no geographic limitations. I’m comfortable working remotely for the planning process and have traveled extensively domestically and abroad.

The bride wears a teal and gold embroidered outfit with a matching veil, while the groom wears a dark blue brocade sherwani with gold accents. Trees and a building are in the background.

Experience working across cultures, religions, and traditions

Fusion weddings, Baha’i, Hindu, Jewish, Christian, Catholic, Persian, Middle-Eastern, non-religious weddings, multiple ceremonies, weddings in nature or in the city…each has their own needs, and we love creating custom packages that are sensitive to each wedding.

Crawford Naperville Wedding

Whether you're just starting out or well into planning, we meet you where you are — offering wedding planning with clarity, calm, and joy.

Our structured yet flexible approach is personalized to your needs and style, with experienced planners serving couples across Chicago and its suburbs....and beyond!

Here’s how our process works:

1. Kickoff Call & Planning Toolkit

After booking, we’ll schedule your onboarding call to get to know you and outline your planning journey. You’ll get access to our custom Google-based Planning Toolkit, which includes:

  • A planning checklist

  • A customizable timeline

  • A budget calculator

  • Space to track all your details

We'll walk you through it so you're set up to plan confidently, with or without our ongoing help.

2. Planning Meetings & Ongoing Support

We’ll meet regularly (based on your package and timeline) to build your event timeline, choose vendors, review your budget, and more. Whether your wedding is in 18 months or 3, we tailor our pace to fit your schedule.

3. Day-of Details Document

As the big day nears, we create a detailed document for your wedding day and share it with all vendors so everyone’s aligned and prepared. It’s usually about 10 pages long!

4. Wedding Day Coordination

We’re onsite from start of setup to the end of tear-down — managing logistics, vendors, and timelines so everything runs smoothly and you can be fully present. We also set up your personal items like seating charts, card boxes, and all of those little items that you thought carefully about.

5. Post-Wedding Wrap-Up

After the celebration, we follow up with vendors, wrap up final details, and share your photo gallery with vendors for easy access — ensuring a seamless finish to your planning experience.

  • Absolutely! Part of my job is helping you determine your needs.

  • I am based out of Chicago but I love planning all over and can easily plan remotely. I’ve worked events in many states and even internationally!

  • Absolutely!

  • I do not take commission from other vendors for recommendations. I only recommend people I think would be a good fit for your wedding.

  • Day-of coordination is for couples who planned their wedding themselves but want a pro to take over close to the wedding day. We step in about 4–6 weeks before your wedding to finalize details, confirm vendors, create your timeline, and manage the entire wedding day so you can actually relax and enjoy it.

  • Yes! We offer flexible payment plans to make planning support more accessible. Just ask and we’ll find a schedule that works for you.

  • This is extremely rare, but if something unexpected happens, we always have trusted backup planners who will step in and be fully briefed on your wedding plans so your day still runs smoothly.

  • We can absolutely help with logistics, timelines, and coordination for your rehearsal dinner as an add-on!

  • We can offer guidance and organization tips, but addressing and mailing invitations is typically handled by the couple. Additional help may be available as an add-on.

Frequently
Asked
Questions

  • Yes! I have planned weddings of all types. Diversity and inclusion are very important to me and my goal is to ensure an authentic and loving experience. We have a specific team dedicated to Persian Wedding Vendors, the Sofreh Aghd, and other specific needs. Learn more about this here.

  • Yes. Most people don’t realize that the venue coordinator is there to see to the best interests of the venue. You need someone to be totally focused on your details, coordinating with other vendors, and problem-solving if something comes up.

  • I am currently listed as a preferred planner at a number of venues in Chicago and Naperville, including the Morton Arboretum, The Crawford, Naper Settlement, and more. However, I have worked at dozens of venues over the years (in many states!) and truly believe that a good planner can manage anywhere.

  • I would say that most of my clients range between $20,000-$200,000. But I don’t place limits in either direction.

  • Yes. We stay until the end of every wedding.

  • Yes! If you’re looking for guidance choosing your venue or building your vendor team, we offer planning support and add-ons to help you find the right fit for your style, budget, and priorities. Most of our packages include some level of venue and vendor search support.

    SERVICES
    RESOURCES

  • While we do set up personal items such as your card box, escort cards, welcome signs, and other small items, we do not decorate. Any decorations that a florist or decorator would normally set up would need to be set up by those professionals.

  • Absolutely. We coordinate and assist with the room flip so your ceremony space is transformed smoothly into your reception space while you’re off enjoying cocktail hour. The vendors that you have hired will ensure that tables, chairs, and decorative elements are moved.

  • Always. We proudly celebrate love in all forms and create inclusive, affirming spaces for every couple. We are allies, but if you prefer to get support from your community, we can refer some great planners and other vendors! Just ask.
