Your events are in good hands.

And off your plate.

Corporate Event Planning and Consulting

Sholeh Events is a corporate event planning company based in Chicago. We work with HR teams, executive directors, and operations leaders on association conferences, internal meetings, leadership summits, and recurring corporate programs all over the country.

Clients come to us because their team hit a wall. The last planner did not work out, the event grew past what anyone expected, or there simply was not enough bandwidth left to do it well.

We step in with a clear plan, the right systems, and a team that has done this before. Our lead planners bring experience across healthcare, media, technology, and finance events, along with a decade of venue operations and team leadership at a major Chicago venue.

We manage the event, so your team can show up and actually be in the room.

What We Handle

We focus on planning, logistics, vendor management, and on-site execution: Association conferences, Corporate internal meetings, Leadership summits, Executive retreats, Team offsites, Incentive programs, Board meetings, Multi-day organizational events

We do not provide event marketing, trade show sales, PR, social media management, or technical production services. However, we have great vendor recommendations for areas that we do not cover.

Who We Support

Directors of HR, Executive Directors, Operations leaders, and Marketing teams are managing conferences or any internal teams without enough bandwidth to execute their next event well.

~How We Work~

We start with a conversation about your event calendar, your team structure, and where the current pressure points are.

On the call, we will walk through your event calendar and make sure our team is the right fit.

Step 1: Discovery and Alignment

Step 2: Planning and Systems

We build out timelines, vendor coordination, communication workflows, and an execution plan built around your organization.

Step 3: Execution and Partnership

We run the event. We handle the room, the vendors, the timeline, and the stakeholder communication so your team can show up and focus on what they came to do.

Fractional Model

A fractional event team built for growing organizations.

We work with a select number of clients at a time, allocating specific portions of our weekly bandwidth to each one. Prioritizing milestone deadlines while keeping steady-state logistics moving for everything else. The result is senior-level event expertise at a fraction of what a full-time hire would cost, without anything falling through the cracks.

As an embedded part of your organization, we deliver consistent support, shared systems, and a planner who already knows your stakeholders and your standards.

Event planning support looks different depending on where you are. Some organizations need an embedded partner from the start. Others need experienced hands fast.

We work both ways, and know how to hit the ground running when we do.

or

Crisis and Surge

When your team needs backup fast.

Some clients call us when a planner falls through two months out. Some call because the event doubled in size, and nobody has time to manage it.

Whatever the unexpected moment, we are set up to step in quickly, build the plan from wherever things stand, and get everything moving without a long ramp-up period.

~Pricing~

We plan everything from an executive board meeting to a conference with thousands of attendees. One of the advantages of fractional event planning is the ability to scope our support to fit your organization, your event calendar, and your internal capacity. Many clients start with one event and then add additional support after we establish a working relationship and systems.

There are no minimum engagement sizes. Our goal is to make sure our services and working style are the right match for what you need. Engagements typically range from mid-five to six figures, depending on scope.

Every engagement is built around your organization, your timeline, and what you actually need.

Share a few details, and we will set up a discovery call to talk through fit.

“I learned how to entertain with my family,” says Sholeh Munion, event planner and owner of Sholeh Events in Naperville. “We would have 60 people over once a month. It would be so crowded that we would have people sitting on the stairs, but the point was to be together.”

~Corporate FAQ~

  • A fractional event team is a dedicated planning partner that works inside your organization on a contract basis. Instead of hiring a full-time staff member or managing a rotating cast of vendors, you get a team that knows your systems, your stakeholders, and what a good event looks like for your organization.

  • We primarily support association conferences, corporate internal meetings, leadership events, executive retreats, and recurring organizational programs.

  • We manage the logistics, vendors, timelines, and on-site execution so your team does not have to. The goal is for your staff to walk into the event as participants, not coordinators. We advise, do venue sourcing, and bring trusted partners for areas that we do not handle ourselves.

  • Engagements typically range from mid-five to six figures, depending on scope, scale, event type, and duration. Each client receives a custom scope of work proposal.

  • For a major conference, 6 to 12 months out is ideal. For internal meetings, 60 to 90 days is usually workable. We also step in on shorter timelines when teams are dealing with a sudden gap or a fast-moving project.

  • We start as soon as the contract is signed. We schedule an onboarding call with stakeholders and decision-makers, walk through the full scope, ask the questions we need answered, and start building a project plan. We meet regularly in the early weeks to make sure we fully understand the event, the organization, and what success looks like.

  • There is no minimum engagement size. Our goal is to make sure our services and working style are the right fit for what you need.

  • Yes, and that is often how it works best. We come in alongside an internal team and take execution off their plate while they stay in the client-facing lead role.
