Professional Role & Approach
What is your role at Sholeh Events], and what do you love most about it?
I am a Lead Planner at Sholeh Evens, as well as in charge of social media and marketing. I love seeing a vision come to life - from the first brainstorm to the final celebration - and making sure our clients feel confident and supported every step of the way.How did you get into the world of event planning?
I think the first event I ever remember planning is a surprise retirement party for my 3rd grade teacher. From there I planned lots of birthday parties, some exclusive VIP events for B-List artists in my early teenage years, planning all sorts of college events (I served as the president of our Spring Fling Board and On Campus Events team), and then landed in Corporate Events and Weddings. What's your favorite part of the event day?
The moment everything comes together—seeing the decor, the smiles on the clients’ faces, and knowing all the planning and details have paid off. It’s a mix of excitement and relief!Describe your planning style in three words.
Thoughtful, adaptable, detailed. What do you think sets Sholeh Events apart?
Our ability to meet clients exactly where they are. We make the planning process enjoyable, stress-free, and personal, while delivering events that are memorable and seamless

Behind-the-Scenes & Personality
What’s one thing most people don’t know about your job?
A lot of the work happens long before the event—researching vendors, troubleshooting potential issues, and coordinating behind the scenes so the day runs smoothly. What’s the one thing you use most from your event-day emergency kit?
Portable mini scissors. You’d be surprised how often it comes in handy!Do you have a favorite memory from an event you’ve worked on?
I love the moment a couple sees their ceremony space for the first time - especially when it’s completely transformed into their dream vision. Their reactions are priceless.Coffee order or go-to planning fuel?
Definitely my excuse to stop for a coffee instead of making it at home… my typical order is a grande Iced Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaked Espresso with light ice. What’s one song that gets you in the zone on setup days?
You know, I have a whole playlist with lots of great jams. However, on my drives to events I have to break out the musical theater sing-a-longs (think.. Hamilton, Rent, Last Five Years IYKYK). I am a past theater geek and a vocal performance minor in college. :)
Personal Interests
What do you like to do outside of work?
I love spending time with my family (my husband, and my 4 year old son). exploring new creative entrepreneurial projects, and staying active - I try to work out/lift weights 5x/week.Favorite way to unwind after a big event?
A quiet evening at home with a glass of wine and some good music—or a long bath if I really need to decompress! And honestly, those are hard to come by with a 4 year old haha!Dream vacation destination?
Italy—specifically Florence. . Wine, history, and gorgeous scenery—it’s the ultimate creative recharge. And the best food. But for future trips… I’d love to go to Almafi Coast in Italy - picture perfect!A fun fact most people don’t know about you?
I ran a music magazine at age 13, connecting fans with their favorite artists long before social media made it easy.If you could plan any event (real or imagined), what would it be?
A music and wellness festival combining live performances with immersive wellness experiences—something that leaves guests inspired, energized, and relaxed.
Sara’s thoughtful approach and unwavering professionalism create a sense of trust and ease for everyone she works with. Her dedication ensures that every event not only meets expectations but exceeds them — gracefully, seamlessly, and with a personal touch.
