Redefining the Internal Meeting: Nashville Rooftop Edition

When the request is an “internal meeting,” but we want it to feel like something people actually want to go to...

For one of our recent corporate clients, we planned a rooftop experience in downtown Nashville, and it ended up being one of those nights people talked about long after the meeting ended.

We chose Category 10 for the location - right in the heart of the city, with a skyline view and fresh air that gave everyone a real break from the usual hotel setting. Our team looked at a LOT of venues and this one had everything we needed!

We went all in on the details:

  • Local Southern cuisine, served up at two buffet lines so no one had to wait long, with a variety of food to satisfy dietary requirements

  • Signature drinks ready on arrival

  • A cotton candy machine (because fun matters too)

  • And entertainment that got people dancing, not just networking, although there were quieter areas on the deck that were perfect for conversation with the music in the background.

The goal was to create space for real connection (no slide decks, no breakout rooms) just a beautiful evening that reminded everyone why being together in person is important.

Internal meetings don’t have to be boring. Our team likes to create magic for attendees by listening to the client about their company culture and attendee needs, and works closely with our contacts to ensure that the planning is streamlined and efficient.
